Structural stabilization of a three-story mixed-use building following discovery of severe sheathing deterioration and a 14-inch street-side lean during façade demolition. Emergency shoring was installed from basement to roof level, exterior walls were dismantled, framing reinforced with I-beams and sistered joists, and the structure realigned prior to full reframing with 16-gauge metal studs and waterproofing systems. The building was successfully stabilized and re-clad with brick and stucco finishes in coordination with DOB, DOT, and MTA oversight, preventing demolition despite complex site constraints.
